This week has been a steady one for news, with Xbox Live Gold being replaced by Game Pass Core, The Borderlands movie getting a release date, and much more. Xbox Game Pass Core revealed and will replace Live Gold. Earlier this week, Xbox announced that a new subset of Game Pass, Core, will be replacing Live Gold. Via an Xbox blog post “Game Pass Core is the evolution of Xbox Live Gold. Game Pass Core will give players access to our advanced multiplayer network, a select collection of over 25 games to play with friends around the world, and exclusive member deals, all for $9.99 USD per month or $59.99 USD per year.” That collection of games includes Dishonored 2, Doom Eternal, Gears 5, Ori & The Will of the Wisps, and more.
